RowanJoy, one of my favourite designers has the most amazing spring/summer collection! She is such an amazing and talented designer and her collection is all about a feminine, playful and eclectic style, mixing up vintage and modern fabrics, prints and colours.
The model for this shoot was Claire Lawson (Colours Model Agency), hair was by non other than the talented Roy Rogers (SAKS Glasgow) and the photographer was Paul Marr. The makeup for this shoot was very soft and had a minimalist feel to it. For Claire’s face I used ‘That Gal’ primer by Benefit to achieve an all over pink glow before applying Bobbi Brown Mosturising Foundation lightly all over. This gave a very natural finish. To add that fresh glow MAC creme highlighter was applied to her cheekbones. For the eyes I just swept a matt nude eyeshadow over the lid, applied highlighter under the brow bone, defined the eye-brows with ‘Brow Zings’ by Benefit and applied a separating and lengthening mascara onto the lashes. Posietint by Benefit was added to the apples of Claire’s cheeks and GOSH pink lipstick to the lips. This finished off the natural, fresh look that Rowan had requested to complement her awesome collection.
